Orange is one of the rarest stethoscope colors: Littmann has produced orange editions over the years, but they drift in and out of distributor stock, and there is no reliably in-stock orange Classic III at any given moment. We will be equally honest about our side: we do not make orange replacement tubing today. Our current lineup runs Black, Raspberry, Plum, Caribbean Blue, and Chocolate, and new colors get made when enough people ask, which is exactly what the color waitlist is for.

If you find a factory orange Littmann in stock at a reputable distributor, and orange is the goal, buy it; scarcity is the whole story with this color. Expect to check multiple distributors, expect the specific model you want may not be the one available in orange, and be wary of marketplace listings at strange prices, where counterfeit stethoscopes concentrate. Why is orange so rare? Manufacturers produce colors in volume tiers, and orange historically sells behind blues, pinks, and burgundies, so it gets short runs and long gaps. That is also why an aftermarket parts company like us sequences colors by demand: every color we stock today started as the most-requested color we did not make yet.

Nothing in our current lineup pretends to be orange, and we would rather say so than sell you "close enough." The warmest build we make is Chocolate tubing with the Espresso Shift treatment, a warm brown rather than orange. The high-energy alternative is Raspberry, vivid and unmissable but pink-red. Can I dye or paint my stethoscope orange?
No. PVC tubing will not hold dye, and paint cracks and flakes within days of clinical use. Colored stethoscopes come from colored parts or factory editions, never from surface treatments.
