Looks quite similar to the original. As you can see my tube cracked the bronze is maybe a slightly less pretty but the rest is similar. The ear pieces are not interchangeable i tried but the tip for the replacement is a bit different. Sound is fine though! Better than dishing out another 100 to get new though. A pain removing the original bell out of the tube but getting the new one on is very easy

I got my first Littmann stethoscope in 1980, and it was a revelation after the terrible ones I used as an Army medic. They were from U.S.A. Instruments, and we never knew if that was a company or that the Army owned that particular stethoscope. I had that original Littmann until 1989 when I got a Cardio II that was, I was sure, the BEST the world would ever see. I should NOT have doubted the genius of David Littmann, M.D. He was the Harvard Cardiologist and researcher who invented the Littmann auscultation series of scopes. When the Littmann Classic III was introduced in 2015 I bought mine (the one getting “dressed up” in this review) and have had it ever since. I am retired now, but I do take the occasional blood pressure, and I ALWAYS listen in when I am experiencing borborygmus which is ALWAYS good for a laugh at my own expense! If you are unfamiliar with the WORD I am certain you are familiar with the SOUND and the feeling. Borborygmus is the rumbling noise produced by the movement of gas through the intestines. And the Littmann scopes are PERFECT for listening to that rumble! An out of tune Harley Davidson comes to mind as my Harley Street Glide CVO sounded just like it except the exhaust fumes on the Harley had a better bouquet. This Classic III update kit from MotivatEM is a stellar idea! Mine is TEN YEARS old now and the tubing is a little dull and the earpieces are a tad past their prime and the NEW BLACKED OUT metal earpiece bars are so much classier than my original chrome. I almost want to hang it around my neck and see 35 patients a day again…almost. I really DO appreciate how this Littmann replacement tubing makes my stethoscope look NEW again. The new rubber material is wider and thicker yet feels strong and flexible, and comfortably drapes around my neck. I keep stored in my new wraparound Littmann Case without worrying about stiffness or cracking. Installation of the new tubing took only a minute, so it was back in action quickly without any frustration. The fit works perfectly with my Littmann Classic III, and the acoustic performance is as sharp as always with this revered classic diagnostic tool. For any owner of the Classic III this “dress up” kit from MotivatEM will give your stethoscope a whole new lease on life. This is a review of Stethoscope Replacenent Tubing. This is very good replacement tubing for Littman Classic and similar stethoscopes. Note that the metal earpieces are included and match the color in the product listing. Sound quality was good for heart, lung, and bowel sounds. The earpieces are comfortable. These are a good value -- fashionable and functional.

This is a little longer than the one I replaced, as seen in photo. It feels durable, the ear pieces are comfortable, and it had really good sound quality! Much cheaper than a whole new stethoscope! Wish I would have known this was a thing before I replaced mine a couple of years ago, but happy to now have a useful backup at home.

Stethoscope Replacement Tubing Compatible with Littman Classic III – Durable, Flexible Stethoscope Tube Accessory to Replace Damaged Tubing (Black). I had originally thought that when I ordered the tubing it wouldn’t also have the ear piece, which is very good for me. It seems like a good quality hose, and all it needs is the chest piece to make it complete, and since it is the hose that went bad, the chest piece is still good, and can be switched over to the new hose piece. I am of the opinion that this is a very good product and can certainly recommend it.

I purchased my pink stethoscope years ago and want sad I didn’t pick another color because I’m always confusing mine for others. While browsing the other day I found out that you can switch the tubing?! How cool! I was so excited to see they had a brown tube with bronze details. It looks amazing in person and is a perfect neutral. Changing it was incredibly easy. Give it a strong pull and then push the new tubing right on. Sound is exactly as it was before. Ear pieces are comfortable and easy to clean. I love this set! It came with a nice sturdy box so I can store my other tubing in it. Very happy with this item and am looking forward to trying new colors soon!

I expected to receive just the tubing itself to attach to my old diaphragm and the binaural eartips. I was pleasantly surprised to find the only thing missing from this tubing set is the diaphragm itself. I love that the earth especially are black, which gives me a different option than my original silver ones. The tubing feels like the same high quality as the one that came with my Littman. I can't speak to how well it works as I haven't changed out the tubing on my Littman yet. At least visually, its a great way to visual and functionally update a Littman without the expense of an entirely new one

I am so excited to try the replacement kit for the stethoscope. The current one has a leak. The tubing and earpieces are standard sizing and of good quality. I will provide an update once the repair has been implemented.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this stethoscope replacement tubing and earpiece set. The shape is a little different, but the sound quality is just as good. My old tubing has become very stiff from years of use, so this new flexible tubing is an economical alternative to a new stethoscope. The box and packing are also very fancy, looks very name brand.

It’s funny that when you buy stethoscope tubing, it’s like you get an entire stethoscope—minus the bell. In any event, I ordered this to replace the tubing on my trusty Littmann Cardiology III, which I’ve had for over 20 years, and it did the trick. Now I will say that it was REALLY hard to get the old tubing off, and REALLY hard to get the new tubing on, but some combination of hot water, elbow grease, and persistence got me there. Tubing is a cute color, sound quality seems as good as always. Overall, I can recommend.
